Wow, it’s 2012!

Wow, I’ve really been slacking on the blogging. Not only is it 2012, it’s freaking March already!

I’d like to say I was on holiday, or some other reason for being so slow, but all I can say is I’ve been busy just living, and trying new things creatively. The creative process can be difficult at times: I often design brilliant items, only to have to scrap them at the production stage due to cost/feasibility/where-the-heck-do-I-sell-that issues. Needless to say I was really stoked to be asked by my friend Nik to design some special Man Bags for SXSW: finally, after 14 years, I made something for the boys! Shiny Fuzzy Muddy 12 is THIS WEEKEND!!

Hey Everybody, come join me this weekend at Heritage Hall (Main+15th) for Shiny Fuzzy Muddy 12!! We’re open Saturday Dec 10 from 11-9 and Sunday Dec 11 from 10-6, and as always, there’s heaps of amazing handmade art+design, free admission, a bar, and zero Christmas Music…. Good To See You Again!!

Hey everybody, the Eastside Culture Crawl is over for yet another year. I had tons of fun, and got to hang out with Mel King, another artist who also works in my building. Hopefully you got to partake in the antics at Astrosatchel!!

This weekend come visit me at Festive Collective, I’ll be at the shop from 11-5 Friday, Saturday and Sunday (until 3pm). Not sure if I’ll wear the apron, but I’ll keep you entertained. See you there!! XO Janna

As Fall approaches….

Hey Everybody, it’s my first big show of the Fall season. You’ll want to head down to Heritage Hall for sure, I’m bringing loads of Sadie bags, Downtown Totes, Medium Totes and yes, it’s Cashmere Time again…. There will be lots of Arm Warmers, Scarves, Mittens and Hot Water Bottle Covers, plus some new Cowls and Extra Long Arm Warmers, which I’m debuting this season. Print off the flyer for 2 for 1 admission and bring a friend!! My booth is right by the main doors, so you can’t miss it. I’m just finishing some things to bring, so mark your calendars and I’ll see you there!! XO Janna

more summertime markets….

Here’s a couple more things to get your butt off the couch this summer, even if you’ve hauled it outside and everything….

This Sunday, August 21st from 12-5 I’ll be at Britannia Centre for Artful Sundays…. Come visit and I’ll keep you entertained. I promise!!

August 28th is my next Blim Market, this one will be downtown at Robson and Granville from 12-5. There will be lots of other great vendors, and probably some vegan baking as well.

Looking ahead to September, I’m happy to announce that I’ll be participating in Spend On Trend at Heritage Hall. It’s all weekend long September 16-18th, and I’ll have heaps of yummy Fall things for that. I guess I should get sewing!! XO Janna
