Thanks to everybody who made it out to our studio this past weekend. It’s always nice to have people visit the studio. A huge thanks to Audra, Laura and Shoko for showing their work as well…. I know we all had fun!!

If you couldn’t make it this time, not to worry, we have lots of events coming up including the Stone Soup festival at Britannia Community Center and Art in the Garden at UBC Botanical Garden….. but more on those later.

Whether you’re in Vancouver or not, please feel free to join our Facebook group and post your picture of your satchel (and yourself if you wish!!)….. I know our products are going across the globe, it would be great to see where they all have gone!!

Studio Sale time…

It’s starting to feel like spring, which makes me want something new. I’ve been trying to spend my money more wisely lately, and really think about what I’m getting for my dollars. More and more, I find that things that are handmade are what I reach for….

Knowing that my friend Laura made my plate makes my sandwich taste better, and whenever I see Audra’s animals, I smile, even if I’m in a terrible mood. I feel good about giving Shoko’s baby clothes to a new parent because I know I’d rather have worn something really cool when I was a baby, even if I was too young to know what cool was.

Maybe you feel the same way about things….. and if you do, have we got a sale for you!! Make sure you mark your calendars, or get your iCal to remind you, you won’t want to miss this much goodness under one roof!! Join in the fun!!

Hey Everybody…..

We have a Facebook Group now: Astrosatchel Accessories!!

So be sure to join us there as well when you get a chance, and share your own pics of you rocking your Astrosatchel items…. Here’s me wearing our new Sun Hat in Hawaii, and for the record, I was wearing a tube top, you just can’t see it. I’m not one of those naked people who just wears sunglasses and running shoes.

But if you need something new to wear, we’re having an Open Studio Sale with lots of New Products and some Recession beater pricing on a schwack of stuff, so you can still shop local and save your dough. Joining us at the studio are our friends Sumiya Clothing, Cul de Sac ceramics and our pal Audra Neil, with her super cute stuffed animals. Incase you’ve never visited, we’re at 339 Railway Street, buzzer #208. 

Sale hours are:

Friday March 2oth– Noon to 8pm

Saturday March 21st– 11am to 6pm

Sunday March 22nd– 11am to 6pm
